They say that music is the language of the soul, and nothing could be more therapeutic according to this doctor Rock Band. Carey Strom, a Chicago native, was born with a guitar in his hands and loved the Chicago Blues. However his passion for medicine took him down a completely different path. He met Dr. Michael Duffy, a native of Minneapolis, who had played the horn with subgenre of the Twin Cities typical funk rock sound. These two frustrated musicians later followed their other passion outside of medicine and started Nightcall. They have played with the likes of Al Jarreau at the Cedars-Sinai Board of Governors Annual Ball and many other Medical Charities, including the American Lung Association. Their classic sound and surgical attire make them one of the most unique and desired bands around.
